Touring in Lofoten

As a season finale trip this year we decided to go to Norway for some touring adventures. James Winfield, an old friend I met in NZ, teamed up with us and we took the Volvo on a roadtrip up to Lofoten. From Bodø we decided to take the shortcut by ferry, 4 hours straight out across the sea. Such an amazing scenery from that boat.
In Lofoten we skied a lot of cool mountains with epic views over the ocean. Most of our runs were in slushy spring conditions, but we even got to ski fresh snow on some of the north faces. Every day after skiing we put up our tent on a beach along the road and had nice bbqs before falling asleep in our tent. Life at its best!
If you havent already been to Lofoten, go there!

Spring in Sweden

Its been a while since I wrote on the blog. Last weeks I have been busy travelling all around northern Sweden skiing in Åre, Dundret and I just came back home from Riksgränsen where the annual Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships went off. Amazing slush at all places and skiing together with a crew of a lot of good friends. That's what's best with the spring, all the gang shredding.

Found a smooth natural hit up at Dundret

Some touring days
New boots. Best freeride boots I have ever had, stoked!! Waymaker Carbon
And fishing. Cant claim this catch though...

Andermatt

Pictures from some really good end of season skiing in Andermatt. After weeks of sunshine and heavy spring snow, they finally got a big dump and we made it there just in time. Deep cold snow and Andermatt had so much fun terrain to explore. So many steep and long lines. Will go back there for sure.

Last run of the day, still all in pow
Amazing skiing just next to the lift

Must say this picture feels alot like Rikgränsen in May

Shitty visibility, awesome snow

Took the car train over the mountains and skied in Disentis

Verbier and then home

Went to Verbier for some good blue bird skiing but it turned out to be way to busy over there. School holidays... After only one day of skiing there we decided to leave and started looking for another place to go too.. In the last minute I decided to get on a last minute flight back home to Sweden and Östersund. I will be here resting a few days more until I go back down to Lenzerheide in Switzerland for a photo shoot.
