Skiing in Åre

Had so much fun skiing in Åre this weekend. They managed to open up the cable car that takes you all the way up to the top, so we even did some real freeskiing! In November!! Good times skiing with lots of friends I haven’t seen in a while and some good apres ski beers after that. Awesome weekend!!

The snow is back! This time I’m in Trondheim, Norway and the ground is all covered with fresh fluffy snow. We’ve already had a few days with temperatures reaching down to -10 so I couldnt be more stoked! Winter plans are being set and the first day on skis is coming up in Åre in just one week.

Summertime

A long nice summer is about to come to its end. For me it started off with a few weeks of work in construction in Stockholm. Had a lot of fun there with good people and it’s always nice to work outside. After that I headed to Greece for 3 weeks of spearfishing and riding around on our motor bike. I shouldn’t complain but this year was way to warm for me. A lot of the fishes decided they didn’t like the hot water and swam down to the deep blue sea. Anyway, a lot of good times in Greece! When I came back from Greece, I was wedding photographer at a beautiful wedding in the archipelago of Stockholm. A few days after that we decided to take the Volvo on a roadtrip down to Gothenburg, Trollhättan and a short stop to say hi to Patrik and Pauli at 8848 Altitude in Borås. Super stoked on the new collection coming this season!

Finally we’ve made it to Trondheim and I must say that Åre, that we passed on the way, is extremly green and beautiful this time of the year!

NM 2012

Just back from a super fun week in Riksgränsen where I came 7th at the Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships. My skiing felt really good so the season finale couldn’t have been better. This years comp had in total four runs and a lot of great runs went down. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such high standard of skiing in Riksgränsen.

Åre

I'm back in Umeå now after an awesome week in Åre. Blue bird and good skiing every day. This year they had enough snow to build the Freeride park at the top of the mountain. I took a couple of laps each day through the park, but spent most of the time freeriding around the mountain. Lots of snow and fun cliffs.

Next up for me is the Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships in Riksgränsen. Last comp for the season but also spring skiing with lots of good friends. Hope to see you guys there!
