FWQ competitions

Been doing a couple of Freeride World Qualifiers the last two weeks. First in Andorra and then another one in Chandolin, Switzerland. Not a great success at the comps, cause I had some problems in my run in Andorra and I crashed in Chandolin. Still good times skiing with friends, especially Andorra was a really fun trip. To get there we took the train to Barcelona where we spent a few days and from there we rented a car and drove up to Andorra. Traveling, skiing in new places, so nice.

Full packed car ready to go to Andorra

La Clusaz!!

Todays FWQ comp here in Andorra got moved to Monday. The wind was really heavy so the rescue helicopter wouldn't be able to land in case of an emergency. Will be back with an update from Mondays competition next week.
Anyway, last weekend we went to La Clusaz for some sweet skiing up at the big playground La Balme. Such a fun place with natural kickers all over the place.

A few days in Italy

Since we heard alot of stories about how insane amounts of snow Italy has got this season, we decided to go thru the Mont Blanc tunnel to the Aosta Valley in Italy. Over there we hooked up with my old friend Francesco who is from Champoluc. We skied a lot of really good runs with him and had some nice dinners and a beer or two. The second day Fredrik and Edvin joined us from Nendaz. Have to say we really like Champoluc!

St Anton to France

The last days I had in St Anton were awesome with lots of fresh snow. Finally it came and it was heaps! We did a few hikes, skied some steep chutes but most of the time we were just playing around tree skiing in Stuben. Such a nice place with amazing terrain, best in Arlberg.

No skis allowed on this lift so you had to hike below it

Thanks guys for letting me stay at your place

Bags packed for France

Spent a few days on the way in beautiful Annecy

Now we have just arrived to my old friend Fabiens place in Meribel. The mountains outside our window are huge and it's dumping... Might be an alright day tomorrow

Tree skiing in Arlberg!

Had a really fun day skiing pow in Stuben with my mate Robert. Turned out my contour camera was in photo mode but the pictures turned out pretty cool. The snow has started falling and they're expecting heaps of fluffy snow this weekend!!

About to drop in

Lots of steep pillow runs in Stuben
