Insane powder day in La Thuile

Waking up in Courmayeur it looked like there wasn't any fresh snow. We decided to take a chill day in La Thuile checking out the world cup slopes. We were wrong. When arriving in La Thuile it was fresh snow everywhere and it kept on snowing all day. After skiing we had another 38 cm of fresh snow on top of our car. Best day in a long long time!

Summer of 2015

The winter is coming up real soon and I'm looking back at a summer filled with epic days. Lots and lots of days spent in the nature, fly fishing, mountain biking and hiking. It's been great! Even if it was short and cold, still a really good summer.

Now I can't wait to put my ski boots back on!!

Geitgaljartind

At the end of our trip to Lofoten we skinned up to the top of Geitgaljartind, 1086 meters high, maybe one of Norways most beautiful mountains! We parked the car near the beach and hiked from the summer all the way up to really cold snow and an insane view from the top. Crazy!

Time for some summer..

Lofoten

We all wanted just a little more winter before putting away the skis, so plans were made to head up to Lofoten in Norway. The trip started in Östersund where we stuffed the car to the roof and then started the long drive up north. When we arrived on Lofoten the weather didn't look that amazing with stormy winds and rain, but the days after that were much calmer and we even got some blue bird.
Up there we did many nice tours in insane nature with the ocean surrounding us, some peaks over 1000 meters above sea level. Every night we set up our camp near some nice beach, had a dinner, a few beers and just enjoyed life.
A perfect end of this winter!

More touring in Kittelfjäll

Once again I decided to take my car and head up to Grönfjäll/Kittelfjäll for some ski touring. There is still lots of snow on the mountains around there, so if you haven't already waxed your skis for the summer, go!

Bye bye Åre

The ending weekend in Åre was as it always is, one the best all year and especially the runs down Östra ravinen. Had so so many nice runs shredding around the mountain with good people. Thanks and good bye Åre. Now it's about time for all the spring touring!

Ride the Cow in Hemavan

Went to Hemavan for this years Ride the Cow comp. Super fun event where I ended on 3rd place. Managed to get one big cliff at the top and a double at the bottom of my run.

On the last day in Italy we got yet another big dump of snow

Monterosa - Italy

In search for fresh snow, we booked a last minute trip to Italy and the powder place Monterosa. While there we were lucky and managed to get two big dumps of snow! Really nice to ski that last bit of powder before the slushy spring skiing season starts back home.

Spring touring in Kittelfjäll

Spring is here and time for sunshine ski touring. We went to Kittelfjäll and found lots of nice peaks. For steeper runs check out the area around Grönfjäll! Stay in basic cottages just below the mountains in Grönfjäll and enjoy amazing ski touring starting from your doorstep!
